Dr. Wesley R. Fugate
Dr. Wesley R. Fugate is the 20th president of Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA, leading the institution since January 2020. Under his leadership, Wilson College has navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, launched a strategic plan, and introduced several new academic programs. Fugate is committed to transparency and collaboration, demonstrated by his numerous townhall meetings and the 25% increase in support for the Wilson Fund.
Prior to Wilson, Fugate held various leadership roles at Randolph College and served in prominent positions in Kentucky’s state government and higher education sector. He holds a doctorate in higher education from the University of Georgia, with prior degrees from Vanderbilt University and Centre College.
Fugate has been recognized for his contributions to higher education with awards such as the Centre College Distinguished Young Alumni Award, NAPAHE Professional Achievement Award, and numerous honors for his work with students. He has also been named to Phi Kappa Tau’s inaugural Phi Tau’s Under 40 and Lynchburg Business’s inaugural Twenty Under Forty.
Phillip Stahle
Phillip Stahle is a driving force behind new growth and program development at Evidence in Motion (EIM), where he expertly assesses investment risk through proprietary market research, proven forecasting strategies, and meticulous pro forma models aligned with stringent financial benchmarks.
Based in Orlando, FL, Phillip brings over 18 years of experience in product strategy, sales, marketing, branding, and creative execution in Higher Education. His work has been instrumental in contracting, launching, and building online programs and services at more than 100 institutions, resulting in over 500 long-term partnerships.
Before joining EIM, Phillip led and cultivated new program partnership development at Relearnit, Keypath Education, and Pearson. His earlier career included roles in integrated communications and creative development at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
April Briggs
April Briggs serves as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships leading EIM’s Sales and Pipeline operations across the University Partnership business. She works closely with university leadership to deepen existing portfolios and explore new growth opportunities.
April brings 15 years of experience working at the intersection of health care, Ed Tech, and Higher Education sales and development to extend access, elevate quality, and drive scale. She has been working in the Ed Tech space for over 7 years to develop, launch, and scale strategic hybrid offerings based on institutional objectives and market demand.
During her time at EIM, she has led efforts to develop and implement hybrid accelerated graduate health care programs, which are the first of their kind in the United States.
